De Paul Antique Wine Caves & Restaurant

Situated within a former monastery in Fira, De Paul Restaurant evokes a sense of sophistication and refinement only exceeded by the mouthwatering Mediterranean delights and delicacies capturing the essence and spirit of the land. Its name was inspired by Vincent de Paul who founded the congregation of the Lazaristes in 1622 in order to serve the poor.

The Lazaristes resided in Santorini for a total of 172 and founded the first school of St. Joseph. Adding to its rich history, the monastery housing the restaurant was the place where the Vinsanto wine was originally produced, stored and distributed to the Vatican.

A space filled with heritage and tradition, with emerald hues, soft rose tints and alluring black and cream backdrops.
